Practice Trainee
Practice Trainee
We are only as good as the sum of our parts. To build a strong team of professionals, emphasis is placed on the recruitment, training and professional development of our Practice Trainees. Practice Trainees are an integral part of the team and will be expected to take an active role in matters.
As a Practice Trainee, you will undergo a structured training programme during which you will be required to attend regular training sessions on all aspects of legal practice as well as to undertake training assignments. Aside from the structured training programme, you will be working under the guidance of your supervising solicitor and other partners of the firm. You will also work closely with Senior Associates and Associates in your team.

Remote Legal Internship Program (“RLIP”)
Remote Legal Internship Program (“RLIP”)
At PDLegal , we believe that it is our duty to groom the future of our profession. As such, we launched RLIP during the Covid-19 Pandemic. RLIP is an online, structured, internship program, aimed at exposing our interns to the legal profession, albeit remotely.
What can you expect during the RLIP?
- A dedicated mentor will be assigned to you and will provide you with guidance and weekly feedback on your progress.
- You will shadow our lawyers in a variety of cases and will render assistance through, among other things, researching specific areas of law and preparing relevant documents.
- You will assist with at least one publication on a particular area of the law.
- At the end of your internship, the firm will issue you an electronic Certificate of Completion.

Internship
Internship
We warmly welcome applicants to apply for an internship at our firm.
During your internship, you will receive practical, hands-on training and you will work closely with our lawyers on cases and transactions. This is in line with our commitment to mentor and provide our interns with the opportunity to experience the practice of law in Singapore, and to gain an insight into the culture of our firm.
What can you expect during your Internship?
- A dedicated mentor will be assigned to you and will provide you with guidance and constructive feedback.
- You will be exposed to both our corporate and litigation practices.
- You will attend client meetings (when appropriate).
- You will shadow our lawyers in a variety of cases and if the Court permits, you may attend hearings with the firm’s lawyers.
- You will co-write a legal article with a partner or associate.
- You will be invited to attend our in-house CPD events and seminars.
- At the end of your internship, the firm will issue you a Certificate of Completion.
Interns will be given the opportunity to interview for a Relevant Legal Training Contract and Practice Training Contract with the firm (if the necessary qualifications are met) at the end of their respective internships.
